1. Service Definition: GhostReg is a course monitoring tool that watches Rutgers WebReg on your behalf and attempts to register you for courses when seats become available. We do not guarantee successful registration. We only guarantee that we will attempt to register you when a seat opens.
2. University Policy Acknowledgment: Rutgers University's WebReg system prohibits automated course registration. By using GhostReg, you acknowledge that you are aware of this policy and accept full responsibility for any consequences, which may include loss of online registration privileges on WebReg.
3. Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks associated with using GhostReg. GhostReg and its developers are not liable for any consequences resulting from your use of this service. Use GhostReg at your own risk.
4. Account & Session Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and WebReg session information. You must not share your account or session tokens with others. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Prohibited Conduct: You may not abuse our API, circumvent plan limits, reverse engineer the service, or use GhostReg in any way that causes harm to Rutgers University systems or other users.
6. Payments & Refunds: All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Memberships are active only for the semester referenced at checkout and expire after the add/drop period ends. Refunds are granted solely at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
7. Limitation of Liability: GhostReg and its developers shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this service.
8. Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
All plans include session keepalive, encrypted session storage, and continuous monitoring.

01 — What GhostReg Is
GhostReg is a course registration monitoring service built for Rutgers students. By purchasing a plan and creating an account, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
02 — Your Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity under your account. GhostReg acts on your behalf using your own session — it does not access your account independently. You must ensure your use complies with Rutgers University's acceptable use policies. GhostReg assumes no liability for disciplinary action resulting from your use of the service.
03 — Payments & Refunds
All purchases are per-semester and non-refundable once your plan has been activated. Access expires at the close of the add/drop period for the purchased semester. No partial refunds are issued for unused monitoring time.
04 — No Guarantees
GhostReg monitors seat availability and submits registration requests as fast as technically possible. We do not guarantee that a seat will be secured — availability depends on WebReg, server response times, and course capacity. The service is provided "as is."
05 — Data & Privacy
We store only your email, name, and hashed password. We do not store your Rutgers credentials or any university account information. We do not sell your data. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
06 — Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the platform. No refund will be issued upon termination for cause.
07 — Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of GhostReg after a change constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
